This funny, touching, and sometimes coarse comedy looks at how a career housewife comes to terms with her husband’s death, her intolerable kids, and being herself again. Honest, funny, and sentimental, this adult comedy will keep you laughing from beginning to end. |
Director’s Note: I would like to thank a wonderful collection of actors who have agreed to portray the characters in this play. The talent is immeasurable. I was fortunate to have new faces to Roundtown Players as well as the considerable skills of some of our most veteran actors combined into an ensemble cast with no equal! I love to direct comedies, and this one is as funny as I have seen. But the characters are real; we see our own lives in them. We all will deal with death at some point. How we cope is fascinating, funny sometimes, but honest and touching. Come and peek into the world of this family as they journey down a new path in their lives. Laugh, cry, then laugh some more! |
